As a founding member of The Bender Group,
Roger Sorensen
was the driving force behind automation in the office. As the Director of Communications and Administration,
he setup the office and ushered Randy into the computer world. In addition to his duties for The Bender Group,
he also provided the liaison between the one of the new homes builders and the purchaser to help select options
and upgrades for their homes. Although he is no longer active in The Bender Group office, he continues to be
an integral member of the group by providing encouragement and technical support when needed.
Roger retired from the United States Air Force in 1988 after twenty years
of service and moved into the civilian world as a corporate pilot. He is still an active pilot and commutes
from his home at Smith Mountain Lake in southwestern Virginia to fly a Gulfstream IV for an international
company based out of Bridgeport, Connecticut. |
